As this series reaches its 30th post, I reflect on hope — the human foundation behind meaningful change.
Highlighting Opportunities for Poverty Eradication [ HOPE ].
The P2P DBT Economic Model is a proposed framework designed as a ‘bridge’ to HOPE.
How it works:
• Government-verified beneficiaries mapped through an App (like Google Maps) with complete profile visibility
• The App would be developed and managed by a Fintech company.
• Givers can search beneficiaries via AI-powered poverty heatmaps.
• Real-time money transfer via UPI / digital wallets.
• Monthly credit to any account can be capped eg, say maximum ₹6000.
• Transparent, instant, human-centered giving.
• A complementary approach alongside existing government and NGO programs.
• It deals with the Income distribution part of the economy.
This is a simple yet powerful idea:
People helping people, directly, with transparency, dignity, and trust.
A model where every individual can contribute as low as ₹10 and directly support a verified beneficiary identified by the government – in real time.
Why it matters ?
Human psychology tells us: when we see the person we are helping — when we can identify them, speak to them, and support them instantly — giving becomes personal and purposeful – rooted in the joy of giving
This model has the potential to mobilize millions for the most vulnerable sections of the society, and transform lives at scale.
We can create a future where we can reach out to the most vulnerable.
